We will drive you to Tripas Taberna, a few kilometers from Corfu Town and one of the most authentic places in Greece.
Tripas Taberna is one of the oldest taverns on the island. This family-run business has been operating since 1939 in the picturesque village of Kinopiastes, hidden in the southwest of Corfu. Not only it’s very famous for its menu and homemade wines, but also for the old decoration, full of antiques and adorned with old photographs, dry pumpkins, and vintage and dusty cognac and wine bottles on their wood shelves.
Over the decades and for almost one century, thousands of visitors have enjoyed this restaurant, some of which were worldwide famous: French President Francois Mitterrand, actress Jane Fonda, Aristotle Onassis, and the original Zorbas Anthony Quinn.
A Greek Night begins with traditional songs from all over Greece and ends with plates smashing and dances that guests may later join. Not only you will listen to the classic Greek songs, but also Corfiot traditional melodies, also known as cantadas or serenades, influenced by the Venetian choral oldies, accompanied by guitars and very different from popular music of the rest of Greece.

After a warm welcome by Spiros, the owner, you will be offered a selection from Tripa’s unique and varied hours d’ oeuvres, followed by platters of juicy spit-roasted lamb, or a joint of beef baked in ladokolla. Then, you will be served a variety of seasonal fruit and Greek desserts.
